Question about LG Televison & Video
LG CT-29K30EX 29" TV plugged in and switched to standby mode it starts making a clicking sound. I can't get it to switch on it just sits clicking away in standby mode
LG CT-29K30EX 29" TV - We have the same symptoms as described. If you are a person who is not afraid of opening the back cover of your TV and replacing parts inside. this tip is for you. Contact a service person if your not 100% sure. Its actually easy, it involves replacing a small capacitor in the power supply section. You don't need to troubleshoot coz i've done that for you for free. Find this capacitor in the power supply. C801 with a value of 100uf / 35V. De solder and replaced it with the same value or a much higher Voltage rating e.g. 50V. Done! your T.V. is alive again. - Rey Tilles - New Zealand
