Hi
The problem is mechanical, Disassembly carefully the section mechanism, clean all with isopropilic alcohol and grease again.

Tienes que llevarlo a un centro de reparaciones ya que el sistema de cd esta fuera de tiempo por eso no funciona nada.Hasta que no lo pongan a tiempo no va a funcionar.

DVD changer is jammed on my Panasonic Sa-pt770 Receiver

if you have 2 tiny screw drivers, if not, the tips of a butter knife might be skinny enough, you can try to insert them a wee bit into both sides of the tray and pry outward, carefully of course, and unjam the tray

Hi, Can I buy a 5 disc changer for the panasonic SA-PT956 home theatre system, sounds like it has stripped gears. Thanks

They are available from panasonic. I have replaced many. There is a skill level needed to work on one of these. You should get the service manual also.

On my 5 disc changer panasonic SA-PT950 there is a error displaying F61 then automatically shuts down. How can I reslove this issue?

F61 indicates a fault with the laser and the only solution is to replace it.

I've had a look at my usual supplier and can't find any reference to a replacement being available and on most occasions when they are available it isn't cost effective.

The CD loading mechanism is out of time and has not reset correctly. This cannot be reset. The loading mechanism must be dis-asembled and rebuilt. This is not a DYI repair. Any Panasonic service center can repair this for you.

Sa-pt760 get chnger error, disc tray does come out and just makes noise. I have tried unplugging, also hold power button and number 10 on remote.

There is a mechanical problem with the changer. This is a relatively common failure that requires a "rebuild" and may also require a gear or two. The typical parts cost for this repair is under $20 and if I remember correctly, there is also an engineering change/modification that should be applied to this as well to prevent this from ocurring again. Since the rebuild requires a specific build order and alignment, this is NOT a DYI repair (unfortunately). Your best bet is to locate an authorized Panasonic service center for this repair.

It is the laser, If the cd mech is in the top of this one you may just need to clean the lens manually. Cleaning discs are not all that reliable. You can do this by taking the top off and looking at the area where the disc gets clamped to play. The laser has the small glass lens. That is the part you need to clean. Take a Q-tip and wet it very lightly with some windex or some alcohol. Make it so that the Q-tip is just barely wet. Then just lightly rub the lens without pushing on it hard at all. Just nice and easy over the glass lens. Then dyr it off with the dry end just like you did with the wet end. That's it. close it back up again and turn it on and see if it plays. If it still does not play you need a new laser. No other fix for it.
