Front load washer doesn't turn itself on when door closed and cycle picked
I load the washer, pick the cycle, close the door and push the 'on' switch. Nothing happens. I have to push on the bottom of the door to activate the switch to start the cycle. How can I access this switch and adjust it to activate when the door is closed?

First check the door if it is still properly aligned try to tightened first the two screw of the door sometimes it is loose align it, reset your machine, if it is still the same, now take a look on the rubber gasket attached to the shell cabinet, there is a big plastic clamp or a rounded wire with spring on the other end it is the gasket lock, pull it u can return it by reinserting it back, wire lock-just stretch it and put it back, after doing that-pull the gasket slowly,to your right the door lock is located, check if it is misaligned-difinitely no problem with your door lock it is a matter of alignment - happy washing

Use a washer cleaner like AhFresh (all three tablets) with the tub clean cycle, no clothes in the washer. Now, only use 1 to a maximum of 2 tablespoons of HE laundry detergent per cycle. Due to low water consumption of these machines, you must adjust soap usage or odors will result. It may also help to leave door open for a hour or so after cycle is finished to allow inner tub to dry completely.
DOOR SWITCH ERROR If the door has not been opened for 3 consecutive cycles or the door switch is open while the door is locked for more than 5 seconds.
Door not opened during 3 consecutive cycles. 1. Open and close the door. 2. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.
Door switch open while door is locked. 1. Push the door and check if it is completely closed. 2. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.
Faulty door Switch or CCU board or door not closed during run cycle.
Starting Diagnostic Test and bypassing the Service History Mode: Execute this procedure with an empty drum. All of the steps below must be done in sequence in order to reach the Diagnostic Test. This executes the automatic test but does not show the error history. Close the door. Push POWER. Select the CLEAN WASHER cycle. Press EXTRA RINSE four times within 5 seconds. Press EXTRA RINSE to advance to the next step of the test procedure. If the starting procedure fails, push PAUSE/CANCEL, then repeat the starting procedure.
Problem solved by ourselves! It was NOT in the circuit board (brain) of the machine. It was NOT in the door locking assembly as others would lead us to believe. It WAS the on/off switch on the control panel--part number 22002560 - a $22.00 problem fix.
Check latch mechanism for alignment. Often operation of machine loosens latch mechanism causing internal switch for "door open (or ajar)" preventing rinse or spin cycle. Opening and closing door presses latch mechanism closing internal switch allowing for continue processing to rinse or spin cycles.
