Wire diagram i own a 1961 chevrolet pickup c/10 with a 350 and i have reacently purchased a main under dash wireing harness, because the truck did not run when i purchased it. so i truly need help on figuring out how to make the vehicle mobile again please?

You are probably going to find four wires together that do not have a plug on them. There should also be a tag taped on the wires showing that it is for the trailer. You will have to put a plug or some kind of connection on those wires.

Have replaced the heater coil. Truck will not stay running


You must have disconnected a wire or plug from the wiring harness under dash, retrace your steps and check all parts of the harness near where you worked.

My 89 chevy pickup headlights shorted at the switch in the dash. does anyone have a wiring diagram?


Don't need one, Unplug from switch and with switch in hand replug together. then go back far enough on harness to where you can see some color then trace each wire back to the switch plug. You can buy the plug and wires in pigtail form and just match up the wires. Replace the switch for sure and find out why it shorted. Fire Hazard risk. Good luck
