Cd won't turn or makes clicking sound when turning. Either way won't play

Remove the cd then.
remove the cd cover then
tutn on the device without cd and look at the cd reader if there is red light. If so turn the potentiometer installed with th cd reader board a little bit in one direction and notice the light.if mire light came on put the cd and test
if not ok replace the cd reader
if the light decreased when you turned the potentiometer . Turn it on the other direction carefully untill there is more light

if there is no light from the cd reader. Unplug the cable installed in it and clean the terminals carfully with suitable cleaner then plug and test . And if still no light . Change the cd reader

nnote. Usually its a cd reader fault

Remove the batteries. Press all the buttons to eliminate a stuck button as the problem. Reinstall the batteries or install new batteries. Check remote operation.

To find the positive wire for your stereo you should really be using a multi meter. you can pick up one relatively cheap at any Hobby Electronics store. If you are still unsure then I really think you should get someone who has installed a car audio system before to help you.
