Lg was dropped in coke.. any way fix?

My lg env slipped out of my pocket into class of soda... it stayed on until I turned it off. I took out the battery to try to dry it a little bit more, but when I try to power it up it shows the verizon symbol and then will say Battery Charging, is there any to solve this problem?

I dropped my phone in a cup of liquor..dont ask...but it was mixed with a juice. I know the battery or something is owrking because it vibrates when i try to turn it on. I have set it in the heater to dry it. i am currently leaving beside to blow dryer to dry it out some more. If anyone knows what else I can do it would sure help me.

MOST LIKELY YOU WILL GET MORE PROBLEMS WITH THIS PHONE IN THE FUTURE WHAT CAN HELP SOME IS IF YOU OPEN UP THE PHONE AND USE A TOOTHBRUSH TO CLEAN OFF THE CHARGING AREA FROM THE OUTSIDE FIRST THEN GO TO THE INSIDE, I WOULD RUB DOWN EVERY PART I COULD, IT MOST LIKELY WILL HELP FOR NOW BUT I WOULDNT TRUST THE PHONE, WATER DAMAGE CAUSES THE PHONE TO CORRODE SLOWLY.

I dropped my LG enV into a puddle of water.

Sounds like you will need a new battery. My env2 would only work if plugged into the wall charger after I dropped it in the toilet. I got a new battery and it works fine now!

LG ENV Shuts Off.

Hoh K,

So, This Isn't Really And Uncommon Problem With This Phone, Mine Does It Whenever i Put It In My Pocket, The Best Thing To Do For This Is To Take It In To Where It Was Purchased And Report The Problem, Thats What I Did And I Got A New One Free Of Charge Due To Faulty Manufacturing.

Battery is required

I already fixed my problem. I'm not sure how...? I just took the battery out a few times and wiped it off with a clean, dry cloth and eventually it started working. Thanks though.

Wont turn on

Pull the battery out for 60 seconds and replace. It should work. I had the same problem and a service rep helped me fix it.
