Question about Yamaha CDR-S1000 CD Player
Hi i have a yamaha cdr s1000 cd recorder when i put media in (blank or recorded) it says reading on the display and stays in about 10 seconds befere it ejects again, does this everytime
I also have the yamaha cdr-s1000. The problem with this machine is that it will only accept blank disc that have a mark that reads "compact disc digital audio recordable or compact disc digital audio re-writable". No other discs will work. The machine will eject them after about ten seconds or so. The problem is finding blank disc that have that mark on them. I can't find them anywhere.

The unit has stopped reading discs. I suggest taking the lid off and cleaning the laser lens with a cotton bud with a little Windex , then give it a gentle polish to be sure no residue smearing is left. If that does not fix it, check to see what actually happens when you load a disc. Does the transport fully engage and clamp the disc correct into the chucking assembly. Let me know how you got on:)
