Re. Zanussi wjd 1660w ( 1600jet system ) Drying cycle. Heater is ok but clothes not drying and getting very hot. Fault E11 shows but note washing cycle operates well so there is not a water inlet problem. Furtherthe elapsed timer does not show any lapsed time on the drying cycle ie it remains on original time set although it is good on washing cycle hope you can help thanks. If its the condenser water that cannot get into the drum how can that be cured.

SOURCE: Zanussi WJD1667W not drying at all

Hi,

I've got this machine, and all washer dryers tend to have two heating elements and it sounds to me that the heating element for the drying side of the machine's functions needs replacing. You could probably find a cheap element for the machine somewhere and get it fitted for a small sum.

Let me know if this rectifies your problem

My Zanussi TCE7124W is not running cycles properly and the clothes are still wet at the end of a run

The filters are clogged.
• The condenser is clogged.
• The water reservoir is full.
• The selected cycle is not suitable for the laundry.
• Insufficient drying time.
• The laundry has not been spun properly.
• The low-temperature function selected.
• Excessive laundry load.
• The dryer is not correctly installed.
Also, check the heater elements.
For the movement, check the drive belt has become worn or snapped. To test your tumble dryer's drive belt, we recommend you manually spin the drum. If it is stiff and difficult to move, the drive belt is ok, if it is easy to move, there's a good chance the drive belt is the fault.

Good Day,
Your washing machine is fully automatic?
the washing cycle is normal?
if yes do the same maybe it will help you.
for the fully automatic washing machine mostly have drain pump, please check the filter of your drain pump, how? remove the cup of your drain pump like a ordinary cup, screw it clock wise or counter clock wise.
Remove drain pump filter and clean it, some hair pins, cotton buds or coins or any small item that coz of clog up.
if your washing machine dont have drain pump ,but fully automatic check the drain motor if running or not? how? open the back cover for top loader washing machine only, select spin cycle and press start to see the drain motor running? the drain motor is like a small box with small wire to pull the lever of the drain to remove water inside, if the motor running or pull the lever of the water pipe but water still inside the washing machine, remove the drain cup or cover and clean it or check if have coin or cloth inside that coz of clog or water stuck,
if the drain pump or drain motor is weak this is will cause and long time draining or totally not running the drain pump or drain motor and its cause of totally stop the cycle of washing machine in rinse time or spin time, because all fully automatic washing machine, after washing cycle the drain pump or drain motor must be on, to remove water before start the next cycle. rinse or spin cycle.

My WVF 2402 washer/dryer washes clothes ok but doesn't dry them.

Sorry I'm way late with this but I've only just noticed it. Unplug the machine from the mains! Remove the lid (with a torx screwdriver) and you'll notice a small circular device with 2 leads attached on the top of the machine, in the centre there's a small button, press it and it should click......you've fixed it This is a thermal cutout safety device designed to switch the drying heater off if it becomes too hot. The probable cause for this is that you've over filled the machine and the air didn't circulate freely. as a rule of thumb, dry 1/2 as many clothes as you wash.

Washer dryer is no longer drying

two things to check take rear half of cabinet off and check the dryer duct (lhs from front) is not blocked. this is very common check water is being taken in during dry - the water is used to condense steam from the drying clothes. easiest way to check this is to see that some water is being drained during the drying cycle. i assume that drain is operating ok
