Ingllis washers have a bad habit of picking up socks, small items anyway in the drain protector hose, slows down water flow but ensures the items dont get sucked into the impeller.
from the underneath you shhould be able to see a clear cup sized container with a hose in the side, held in with hose clamps. check if this is filled with any clothing, undo the hose clamps and you should bew able to empth the cup with fingers

I have Kenwore Series 80 Clothes Washer, Model # 110.26842694,Serial # CJ 3231197 and a couple of problems exist; as the timer reaches the rinse cyle the timer stops and needs to be set to the spin setting, during this period the water does not drain. Is there any suggestions for repair that can be advised. Thanks, Darius Caswell

Unplug washer for 10 min to reset curcuit board. Then select the spin cycle. Selecting too many cycles in a short period of time can confuse the little brain in the board.

SOURCE: kenmore 80 series washing machine - won't stop

Your air pressure tube going to the water level switch is pinched or stopped up,OR, the water level switch is going bad.
Use this manual to access these parts and diagnose which is bad.

Kenmore 80 series 110.29882890 won't spin

That could be a lot of things. The first thing to check is the lid switch. You should be able to see where a tab goes into a slot from the lid to the main frame. You want us something like a screw driver to press that down while the machine is trying to spin and see if it kicks in. If not let me know and we can check some other things. How old is it?

Based on the information you provided, you need to replace the wig wag on the unit. No joke, that is what the part is called. Here is a link to the part to order.

Kenmore Series 80 washing machine won't drain after wash cycle. The machine just stops.

Check the lid switch under the edge of the top where the lid closes. When you are about 1 inch from closing the lid you should here a little click sound. That is the switch closing. I fyou do not here the click then the switch is bad.

Kenmore 80 Series draining problem

Check the following before replacing the timer.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

You need to replace the Kenmore Washer Lid Switch. I had the same problem so being lazy I would just push down on the washer's lid and it would push the lid switch further down. making the water drain. after a while I just replaced the lid switch.

Kenmore washer 80 series 110 model not spinning.

unless your washer is over 20 years old, then it wont have a belt. the temperature of the water wont have anything to do with it spinning or not.
need to know if it agitates or drains and just wont spin.
if it agitates but no spin or drain, then you have a bad lid switch.
if it wont agitate or spin, but will drain, then you have a broken drive coupling.
