My motorola v8 wont connect to the internet or my pc

My phone (motorola razor v8)wont connect to the internet. i have downloaded the settings several times but it still wont work. it will also not work when i try to connect it to my computer. when i do connect it to my computer the message on the phone screen says 'the USB connection has been established. do not unplug this device during trnasfer' but the message on the motorola apllication on the pc says it cannot recognise a device.

    My phone also wont connect to my pc via usb. It gets to the stage where its supposed to recognise it as being a v8, and can't. The live update can't see it either. When I tried looking for the model manually, it wasn't listed at all!

    i have a motorola v6 also and it would connect but then i ran a system restore on my computer today and it wont connect anymore

    I can't connect to the internet with my cell phone. Also, my computer shuts down after a few minutes. Are the two connected so that a virus in my computer would affect my cell as well

I have the same problem when trying to get my PC to recognise my V8. I went to the Motorola website for updates and the V8 is not even one of the options!!!! This is a classic example of BAD RUBBISH support for users. Motorola MUST be aware of this problem and do they supply any help? Of course not. So I say to all people reading this: Don't tolerate poor customer service and contact MOTORALA and DEMAND better support.

I want to download a motorola v3i phone tool so that I can use my razor phone to connect to the internet . . I dont know what website to go to and WICH one to click on to download it.


YOU DO NOT NEED ANY TOOLS, SIMPLY SETUP INTERNET TETHERING FOR YOUR MOBILE AND CONNECT A USB CABLE TO THE COMPUTER THEN SHARE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION.

Cant download photos to pc


Hi,
1) install Motorola Phone Tools in PC.
2) Select Modem in Phone Main Menu >> Settings >> Connection >> Modem.
3) Connect the handset with PC and run The MPT.
4.) Select the File transfer media and transfer data from Mobile to PC.

first of all, you need to have a data plan. if you do, check with your service provider for the settings.
alternatively, under applications, check to see if you have a pre-installed program called motorola setup. i automatically retrieves the internet settings for your moto.

Driver for motorola V8, how and from where to be downloaded,


I have got motorazr2 V8. The display shows an unregistered SIM. I have contacted AIRTEL and they suggested to upgrade my software. They told that some motoroal phones have got this problem that even though you have a vaild IMEI it doesnt get recognised because of the software problem.
From where can I upgrade the software and how to do it.

Connecting a razor v8 to a computer


You need to have the software Motorola Phone Tools. After you have this you can do whatever - sync up with MS Outlook, Calendar and transfer pictures or files.

Pc doesnot support the motorola w230 phone..


because the driver of Motorola w230 is not for modem but for charging driver. the driver recommended for razor, v3. for further information open .inf on driver Motorola w230. so you cannot connect to internet with PC trough Motorola w230 modem.
