Question about Dell Dimension 3100 PC Desktop
After cleaning my hard drive and adding windows xp pro. i could not get sound or internet
Hi. Right click on My Computer\Manage\Device Manager. Does your Audio and Network Adapter show up under Other Devices, with a yellow exclamation point? Right click on one of them and select Uninstall, and then reboot. On reboot, Windows should see new hardware. Follow the prompt to have Windows search for the driver, it should find it as it's already on your system. When it finds it, allow it to load it.
If that does not work go to www.dell.com. Select "Support and Help" and then "Drivers and Downloads". You can then enter the Svc code of your Dell and you will find yourself on a download page with drivers made for your model Dimension.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
