I have a Toshiba Gigabeat F60 from several years ago. It stopped working shortly after I got it and now I would like to try to get it working again. Upon start up it says "no system found oh HDD" but my computer still recognizes the gigabeat as an external storage device and will allow me to add and remove stored files. also I do not have gigaroom or what ever installed on my new Vista operating system.

The Gigabeat is not recognizing the firmware on it. The easiest way to re-install the firmware is to install Gigaroom. It will be able to recognize the Gigabeat and replace the firmware.

This Worked For Me!!! Check this link it is the only thing that fixed my "no system found" problem. This guy really did his homework. http://home.comcast.net/~mmoyars1316/Gigabeat/Giga_fix.htm
