Hi I have a acer aspire 5720 laptop had it about 1 year the orange light on the front which shows battery charging started to flash and when I moved the charger wire it flashes on and off I bought another charger and it worked fine for a few weeks now the same thing is happening could it be I need another charger or could it be a faulty jack Laptop gets heavy daily use and do I need 65W or 90W charger thankx

Motherboard problems. It's an Acer and they're notorious for having these exact issues about one year to two years after being bought.

Try and sell the parts seperate on Ebay but before doing that call the company you bought it from and see if its still under warranty

Im sure laptops come with a 2 year warranty

If not either list the parts or as a whole on ebay

You need a new laptop charger with suitable voltage for your Acer Notebook.

It could be the battery. So i'd try to find a store that sells batteries and replace the battery.
Manny laptops will shut off when the battery is dead. So if your laptop works without the battery and only connected to the wallsocket, it's definitely the battery.

Try reinstalling the drivers from the manufactures website or ring them for advice...

That means that your power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced.

your LCD panel is damaged, if it is only a year old it should be under warranty, it needs to be repalced.

The Acer Aspire 7520 is a very poorly desiged laptop i also have one which is broken atm.

The best thing you could do is to Refomat and install a fresh copy of windows

You shoud have two recovery disk that you should have burned as soon as you got the laptop.

Put Disk 1/2 into the drive.
Boot up your computer and press ATL+F10 atleast three times.
-Follow the on-scree
n instructions and soon you will be asked to put in the disk 2/2.

At the final phase you will be asked to put in disk 1/2 again...Wait awhile untill everything is install and finished loading and your computer will restart with Facory Defualt Settings.
