Hey thanks y'all. I have had problems with the power supply on my sansa. Twice in the past I have turned it on, heard 1 song, then the thing shuts down and is completely unresponsive, like a dead cat. But those 2 times it came back to life when I plugged it in. Yesterday it went comepletely unresponsive again (I think I wore out the battery going to the gym, then going around town doing errands.) and I plugged it in. Its been plugged in for about 12 hours now, and I still couldn't get it too turn on, so I came looking for you guys. I saw that someone said the system can be reset by holding the power button, and that worked. I held the power button and counted to 13 and the system woke up. Thanks guys.

Ipod will not turn on..

Its probably a hardware issue if it will not turn on even while connected to power. However i would attempt that reset while it is plugged in, just to be sure. If you need the apple support number it is 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273)

I have a sansa c250 mp3 player, and I use the voice recorder to record fiddle tunes because I'm taking fiddle lessons. I'm tryying to take the recordings off the mp3 player and put it in my windows media...

Instead of using Windows Media Player, connect the Sansa to the computer, double-click My Computer, double-click the Sansa drive, and go to the Voice folder - drag the recordings to the Desktop or some other location on your computer. This will backup those songs for you in case something goes wrong.

Sound problems

Have you tried using a differant set of Headphones? If you still have the same problem with using other headphones, then it seems like there's a poor connection on the sound card from the headphone in input to the board. If your sound card works fine through normal speakers, then that's more then likely your problem.
The cheapest solution would be to replace the sound card rather then have it repaired, as it would probably cost you more to have it repaired then what it would be to buy one depending on what quality of sound your happy to listen to.

BIG problem. PLZ help!!! :(

The Samsung YP-F1 has a reset button located under the black Samsung cover plate. It can be gently removed via a finger nail or mini flat blade screwdriver. Once plate is removed a hole labeled reset will be seen. Use something like a paper clip and press in. MP3 will power down/reset. MP3 data is also retained after reset.
