The screen turns green after playing videos for 20 minures

The Video Controller works off of the RGB principal. RED/Green/Blue pixels. The mix color is dependent on the formation and density of the pixel and rates. When one or more colors are absent the only functioning color will dominate, and it is Green in your case. The screen liquid crystals in Red and Blue are failing and only a screen replacement will fix the situation.

Monitor lost color went blue contrast. now well not turn on.

The monitor has at least two issues, the color is lost and gone to blue screen, second it will not turn on. It will be cheaper to replace the monitor with a new one rather than fixing the Star Logic Monitor. But I would suggest using a spare monitor to check the computer for any possible issue.

well that could be because the screen is going bad. you might want to get another one or take it in to get it fixed, no more than 100 to fix your screen.

Permanent vertical line down monitor

The thin ribbon that connects the board on the back of the lcd screen to the front glass of the lcd screen got damaged.
It wraps around the top of the screen and is very thin and can be easily damaged.
May be from old age and heat at the top of the screen or it could have gotten hit at the top.

The cheapest way to repair this is to replace the lcd screen with a good used one because trying to find a shop to try to repair it would cost more than a new monitor.
It will change color with different colors and also if you push the screen at the top point. Don't play with pushing the screen too often as this may cause more to show up.
Sorry there isn't an easy fix to this.

Vertical lines

The monitor sounds like its going to die. The problem is because of the LCD Panel.

A monitor should have 2-3 boards, a logic board, an inverter, and a power supply
Lastly the LCD Panel which should consist of a crystal mirror, LCD Panel(has the circuitry and the brains for information/images that display), and backlights.

The LCD Panel is the problem. It needs to be replaced.
Yes it sucks, but usually LCD monitors last for so long, but in some cases they wear out by use and the thin circuitry that provides the power to create colors and images, begin to die. Im sorry. Its really the only solution unless you have the expensive equipment used to make the panels.

My recommendation is to replace it and it should work spankingly new.

I wish yuo luck. Please Rate.

Not true color

I seem to have found the solution (and the cause, perhaps?) for this problem!

I was having the EXACT same problem with a monitor I'm repairing for a friend. The capacitors on the power supply board were blown (CapXon capacitors, who'd've guessed), which was keeping it from powering up. After replacing the capacitors, the screen worked beautifully. But it had this weird yellow tint!

The strange part was that pure colors - red, green, blue - all appeared perfectly OK on screen. Curiously, the menus would show in the proper colors, except for one: the manual color adjustment menu, which illustrated "Blue" as a sort of off-green in the icon. Auto-Adjust would always fix the colors for a split second, then go back to yellow. Reset didn't fix it. Color reset didn't either. So, exactly the same problem as above.

The solution I found was hidden within the main menu itself, a sort of "easter egg". Hold the Menu button down while pressing Power, and hold it down until the screen, and menu, appear. There will now be a hidden selection, "Auto Color", printed in a red-on-black font at the bottom of the menu. Use the +/- buttons to access it, and press Menu. Voila! PERFECT COLOR! Perhaps this menu was accessed by accident, and calibrated to an incorrect color key. But now my picture works great, and the setting lasts through Auto-Adjusts and Resets!
