Delonghi Rotofryer filters

I have lost my book and don't remember what order to put the replacement filters in. Black one next to the metal or white side? Thanks (I will pay attention next time before I take them out)

Just had the same problem myself and eventually found the answer.

The white filter must rest on the metal part and the coloured area must face upwards (or towards the black filter)

You can download the user manuals at the following

Hope that helps

Take it back to where you bought it and tell them to put it where the sun don't shine.

PUMP NOT STARTING TO RETURN OIL

I have 20 years experience on commercial FRYMASTER fryers in fast-food restaurants, not knowing what you have, I will share what I look for. First check for reset on pump. if pump runs, check for blockage starting in the outlet of vat. Kinks in hoses are hidden sometimes by metal braiding covering outside. Filter is put together with filter media out of order of assembly. If motor is close-coupled to pump, oil migration can seize motor bearing.

My Delonghi F600 smokes when I start it up

Hello Squad955,

I understand that your Delonghi F600 smokes when you start it up for operation. I assume that the smoke is comming out of the top of the unit when it is shut.

There are three possible causes of this led/cover filter, food debris and oil break down.

The led/cover fitler is removeable and replaceable it is used to catch the oil of vapors that come out in the stem unit during frying, warmup and cooldown. The filter may be real dirty and need to be replaced. The filter can be replaced by clossing the lid and opening the filter door on the top of it. If the filter is no longer white it needs to be changed. The fiter set number is #DGI FK6 and can be purchased from DeLonghi for $14.99 at http://www.shopdelonghi.com/detail/DGI+FK6

If you notices little pieces of batter or black sand looking stuff in the bottom of your fryer the oil needs to be filtered. This should be done when the oil is cool and the unit is not plugged in. You can use cheese cloth or another filtering type cloth to filter the oil. You pour the oil from one item thru the cloth in to another item and discard what ever is caught in the cloth. The oil should be filter when you notice items stuff in the oil, no longer clear, or batter at the bottom of the oil.

The third possiblity is the oil is no longer valuable. The oil should be changed after 8 to 10 frings. Oil naturally breaks down over time just like the oil in your vehicle. The oil does not show signs of wear however, it should be changed after 8 to 10 uses.

If you have anymore questions about this fryer please post back to this thread and I will be happy to help you.

De'Longhi Rotofryer FRP Easy Clean Fryer, 1kg instructions

Unfortunately the model you have does not have the drain tube. The FI8 is the model you are thinking about. The FRP has an arrow at the side of the rim to show where to tilt the fryer AFTER THE OIL HAS COOLED, FOR TWO HOURS AT LEAST!! Hope this helps you.

Model D690UX Delonghi deep fryer

Well I did solve my own dilemma. You have to unscrew the bottom black bolt in the bottom center of the unit. the open up the front panel to reveal a tiny screw just below the top center of the front panel. Remove it. Be very careful and remove the front panel. Pull lightly up on the inner black pot to reveal the clamp that holds the old drainage tube. Using a needle nose wrench, squeeze the clamp together to release the old tube and the clamp. Add new drainage tube inside the clamp and do the reverse. Make sure when you put the front panel back on, the open button's bottom part is inside a little **** or it will not work (it will fall out when you take front panel off). Make sure the little lamp is inside the red ON button.
Et Voila.....all fixed
