Hi I am having problems with my 4x4 slash 1/10 scale
When I turn on the vxl-3 and that turns green but the traxxas link goes red for 3-4 sec then starts blinking red can anyone help please

If the engine is a Traxxas it will have TRX 3.3 on the side of the engine block. All of the manuals are available online at www.traxxas.com.

A Haynes manual describes tear down. Yamaha manuals are vague and do not have expanded parts diagrams. Clymer is not much better. Try the Haynes manual and supplement it on line with microfiche pictures from babbittsonline.com (has OEM pn#)or bikebandit.com.(has made up PN#) and you should do OK.

sounds like engine is running to lean. count how many times the high end needle is out. will have to retune engine before piston seizes completly up.

you might need to reset the opti drive. turn the power on with the engine still off and hold down the optidrive button for 5 sec. see it that works.

sounds like blown diff or tranny gears tear it down
