Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

I have Cannon Printer Model S750, purchased 08/04/02, Serial No. FATN45265. I began having a problem with color printing. It was printing the material but has pale blue stripes about 1/4" going horizontial over the page. The blue ink was running out. I thought this might be the problem. I installed new ink. It continued. I tried another new ink cartrige. It continued. I did all the service checks. It continues. What is my problem and how do I fix it.

HI,

Did you run a nozzle check? That will tell you which nozzle(s) are malfunctioning. I believe you were also supposed to run a cleaning cycle to get the ink flowing initially when doing the setup. By the way, it is not unheard of to get a faulty cartridge from the printer manufacturer. Rare, but possible. The nozzle check will probably tell you where the problem lies.

What operating system are you using? are you having issues as well printng on regular or any type of paper?

I don't know this specific model but on most print drivers there is a grey scale option undr color management.

I have a printer Cannon 1700 which, when I receive an e-mail, etc. which is in color type my printer will not print this out.


If printer does not print color, then is either printer settings, or you need to replace the cartridge.

Cannon mx860 fails to print in black ink. loaded new cartridge, still doesn't print in black. will print in color..


With the Canon MX860 you can removed the print head assembly quite easily and clean it with water. I have posted a youtube video for your reference.

Print a test pattern print first to make sure that the problems is the printer and not the file you are trying to print , then check you color cartridge if it's empty.

What you have is a dried up color cartridge. You can try to use the <clean print heads> in the diagnostic tools section of you priner software. (usually, just try to print something & the window will appear) Sometimes you have to clean heads, then print test page like 2 or 3 times before it clears up. If that doesn't correct it, don't worry. Have your color cartridge filled (staples, office depot, & other stores do it cheap) - or - replace it with a new cartridge. You may have to run the clean print heads program after installing a new cartridge, but this will definitely fix your problem.

Printer will not print in color


try to check  the printer setting of your printer maybe it enabled the black color printing setup in your printer. Then try also to remove the color ink cartridge then installed it back and try to print it again.

Go to www.cannon.com. when you find the company manufacturer for your printer, type in your model number and it should take you to the appropriate page for that model. Most companies have updates for the drivers, have your serial number ready, model Number, and date purchased if possible. Then just download your drivers. Good Luck.
