My 1996 jetta trek radio is stuck on safe mode i need the code

Get the radio serial number off the side of the radio. Its stamped in the metal. Then call any VW dealership with your VIN number and the radio serial number and they can look it up for FREE and give you the code.
Only your Radio Code and your VIN go together. You can't just get a code from someone and hope it works.

Post the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing
