Charger/power cord not working

The Acer Aspire One should work with the universal laptop charger from Imperial Gadgets - especially if you need a charger that's more reliable or safe than the cheap manufacturer's ones. That should allow your laptop to start up time.

Start by making sure its plugged in and charging. most laptops have a light that is on if the cord is plugged in.if its plugged in and there is no light one wiggle on the connection on your power cord. start at the wall and check every connection. if the light blinks than you power cord is bad or the power port in the laptop has disconnected from the mother board. Some computer stores will have a loaner universal laptop charger you can borrow. I recommend borrowing there universal before you buy a new power cord

sounds like your power supply board, or possibly just the port the charger plugs into if said charger works else where.

The laptop does not recognize the charger due to a different wattage/ amperage or is not powerful enough to charge the laptop while the machine is powered. I have seen many problems with hps/compaqs and the Targus Universal Charger and recommend the HP universal charger for those models instead.

You can use the AC charger cord from a computer as a replacement for the AC cord of the charger. If the AC cord plugs into the wall and plugs into the charger or charger receptacle on the back of the power chair, you can use it.
If I remember correctly, This chair has a 4 Amp on-board charger which has an AC receptacle on the back of the chair to plug in an AC cord. The off-board chargers take a universal AC cord which will work with a universal computer AC cord. If the AC cord plugs in, use it.

It sounds like you have a bad charger cord. Does it do the same when powered off the battery? Like it is tryin to start up. An d also make sure battery is plugged in good to the laptop,

I have an A-135-S5900. This could be one of two problems. Number one would be the power cord has gone bad and you need a replacement. Walmart sells the universal type that has several different fittings with it for different laqptops. Number two would be the power cord connection on the laptop has broken loose from the motherboard. When you plug the power cord into the laptop, does it wiggle and feel loose? If it does, this is probably the problem. This one is fixable but you have to know what you're doing. Hope this helps.

By analysing your problem it seems to be your adapter dead.So first check your adapter,so your laptop battery may not have backup to turn on the laptop.

This might be because the adapter of ur charger is not correct and need to be replaced.

If your battery is dead and your charger is dead there is no way to test. You need a working ac to verify the issue.  Go to an office depot for hp or best buy for dell and ask one of the clerks to plug your laptop into a working charger. power your system. IF it powers up ask where the universal 90watt power converters are. buy one of your liking. I say universal becasue you can use it on a many laptops and it is usually higher reated in watts.
