I also share the same annoying problem. Only a little icon shows I have an unread message, but no tone!!! Only a very soft "beep" sound~! So ANNOYING!!! :(
Your phone has to have the capbility to recieve GPRS and tehn it is just like any message just open it like a text message, go to messages and open it, but only if you have access to recieve GPRS messeges, tehy are not teh same as SMS
backup ur contact & Phone memory then enter *#7370# phone want the security code then enter 12345 ( if u no Change it ) phone will restart. then open log/setting/and set 10days. it will be ok
try to insert your sim to other mobile then try balance inquiry after you have recieved the message turn off your mobile, remove the sim card and insert it again to your nokia 5800.
