The tape wont come out and i get the message unit is safeguard mode. How can I eject the mini dv tape

Ok, if the unit is in safeguard mode it thinks it has been dropped. since it is giving the message it is getting through the boot sequence to that so you are close to the answer. taking out the batery and attempting to turn it on will reset the sensor. then replacing a fresh battery will get you to a place where an undamaged unit will ejct the tape. A damaged tape mechanism will still not functin and you will need a VCR service place to replace the drive mechanism to get it going (Broken drive belt is causing the lockdown.

Canon Power Shot SD750 screen went black. Read solutions, not sure what TV mode is? Is it same as video mode?

Tv is "shutter priority" mode. The Canon SD cameras do not have that mode. Instead see Fix 5A of the below link. A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.

Cybershot dsc-w70 stuck in video mode

Ok! I've searched and searched, so hopefully this will help you all out.

If the videos are very slow moving, you're in multi burst mode. Simple fix, actually...

Press menu button that's below the dial selector. There should be two small options near the bottom of the screen "mode" and the little suitcase.

Go into mode and make sure that Normal is selected. Multi Burst is actually a 16 frame per second function good for sports. It shows as a slow motion video on the camera and a sort of collage on your computer.

Hope this helps. :)

Sony DSC T33

Try to move the mode button fast and stop it right in the middle with a snap. Do it a couple of times to change between video and camera mode. It should help ~vr

Camera-video mode

Is it a switch or a dial? have you tried new batteries?have you removed them and let the camera sit with the batteries out over night? The button or mode switch could be bad.
