Your alternator can be rebuilt with parts from honda. At this point a new one would have been the way to go. It is possible you are having a problem with the wiring harness( broken wire, bad fuse block, etc.) You may even have a problem with the contact base of your ignition switch (dirty or broken). It snaps on to the bottom of the key switch. Mine stranded me at Mount Rushmore. I was able to take it the ignition switch, put in the on position, remove the contact base, disassemble it,scrape the contacts clean , put it back together, and drive away. Hope this idea helps with the problem.

1. your battery needed to be checked with battery load checker. some batteries are producing 12.6 v or so but the current current capacity is bad.
2. also check your alternator if it delivers about 13-14 volts when idling to charge the battery.
3. your battery may still be ok if the alternator is the culprit and doesn't charge enough. replace or repair alternator if found faulty.
4. sometimes the starter is also filled with dust that insulates rotor contact terminals. depending on the mileage of your car, it may need some cleaning to get rid of the elecrtrical reistance these dust produces. incase you don't have time to service the starter, try gently whacking it with a hammer 2-3 times and restart your car. the vibrations will clear the dust debris inside your starter, hopefully,

Hello my name is Christina I have a 2005 Ford Explorer and my check charging system light keeps on coming up. I changed the alternator 2 to 3 times already I have had the car for about one year and half....

It seems like there is most likely a bad connection between your alternator and your battery I would look into replacing those wires. That is far more likely than that many bad alternators.

My pontiac transport cuts out i replaced the fuel pump and the battery goes dead after awhile new battery now while driving it dies like a fuel problem new fuel filter too please help

Check the alternator for voltage output, worn belt and belt tensioner.

A health alternator should be produce 13.6-14.8V.

Any less it will put a drain on the battery.
(example: fuel pump,fans and lights)

Base on what you changed already,I recommend you to

1)inspect the tensioner wear indicator (two arrows, lines or dots) if they coming close the it's time to change the tensioner.

2)check the for worn belt. Look for cracks on the belt.

3)charge up the battery and monitor the voltage.

4)get the alternator check.
Most alternator can go up to 100,000 miles.
Some auto part store has a portable battery + alternator test.

Got the codes checked and found the 52 code says

Most likely either battery or alternator. Also clean all the connections. If its an old battery I would change the battery first. Though if you take out the alternator it can be tested. If you have any other questions let me know.
thank you,

My battery be drained

I agree with you, it sounds like the alternator isn't charging the battery. Most parts stores offer free check of your charging system, with advice on what is wrong and what needs to be replaced (you should replace your mechanic along with your alternator.)
