Question about Sylvania SST4322 32" TV

1 Answer

Video Channel Been using an 'Old" SST 4132 as a security monitor, with feed from a live camera feeding into the RCA video input on front of tv. Problem, is that TV "Lost" the video channel, and I cannot get that channel back (no remote with this TV). Sometimes there are 125 channels available, sometimes 69, but no video channel. Anyone got any suggestions as to how to find the video channel.

How to connect a playstation 2 to a year 2000 rca tv model number f32665

I have no knowledge of the playstation or its output connections but your TV has three phono sockets from what I can tell Yellow is the video feed and is needed to "open" your set to work otherwise will stay blank, Red is Right hand audio, White is Left hand audio.
Your set also has a S-Video socket which with a correct lead combination would give better clearer pictures its audio feed are those two sockets beside it, as above description. Your TV menu may have sub options you need to check on as my TV has one scart but I can select three different input types for it with only one working with a certain type of equipment.
Also your playstation may have to be adjusted (settings) to give a suitable output before connecting. A video I had came with an internal modulator which was factory set to OFF but my TV had NO other sockets had to find a friend use their TV to access its menu and turn it on!
Anyway your set will require a video feed to operate its internal switching system plug a phono lead into the yellow socket set your TV to the correct input (you might see screen flashes if you scrape the other ends connector with a metal object, quite safe for all concerned) this will check this part, then try sockets and settings on your playstation, when OK add the audio.

To play videogames on an old tv PLEASE HELP

You'll need to switch the TV into Video mode. Most TV sets will have a button on the front panel labelled "input" or "tv/video," and pressing this button will cycle through the various inputs your TV has.

Alternatively, this button may be located on your remote control.

Rarely, no button exists, and video input is selected by changing the channel below channel 2; as if you were trying to select channel 1. This will select the video input on sets without a separate input selector button.

I got a tv combination serial No:553-2988818D model No:C1500SL can I set up a home security camera up on it

If the security camera has a standard video output (RCA yellow cable-most do) and the TV has a video input (RCA yel. for video and wht (red) for sound) you can use a video camera.
If no video input on the TV you can use a RF converter from the camera to use the TV on CH3.
Google RF converter for more info if needed - post back with make of tv if needed. Be sure to rate or vote for me if this was helpful

How to connect acer laptop to philips tv to use tv as monitor

If your TV has a VGA input you can connect the laptop using a standard monitor cable. If the TV has component video inputs, you can get an adapter cable with a VGA plug on one end and the appropriate RCA plugs on the other.

Without these inputs, you can't connect the laptop directly. You will need a converter to switch from the computer's VGA output to a standard video signal to feed to the TV. Here is a website with a sample converter. (I don't know this site. It's just one I picked from a Google search as an example.)

RCA f20580wn 20" TV about 20 years old

Hopefully you have the problem solved.

If not, the RCA plugs, listed as input 1 and 2 are shown on channel 91 and 92.

I recommend connecting the DVD to either input. Turn on the DVD. Then run the auto programming function of the TV. It will find and program the channel for the DVD. Then use the channel up or down on the remote you are currently using and you should find a working DVD.

Hope this helps.

Connect TV to cable

Hi, if I understand you right, your TV has only one (1) input method and that is an S-Video and you would like to view regular TV or cable channels. Two possible ways of getting to watch: 1) Get yourself a TV Tuner that will accept antenna or cable input and whose Video output will be fed in to your S-Video. Normally (but not always) output is a yellow RCA jack but of course some would have S-Video output also. Then you would need a cable to conect the output of the tuner to the input of your TV. Cables also can be S-Video to S-Video or RCA to S-Video. Of course, you would need another RCA pair (stereo) to feed the audio to your amp for the sound. 2) Another is to use the built-in TV tuner of an old VCR. Same procedures follow. Hope this works out for your. Please let me know how it turns out. Cheers.

Cannot get DVD to Play on TV

Try the old RCA/GE channels of 90/91 or 92 to get to the inputs. Or try entering channel 00. Let me know if that works.
