Perhaps the cord got stretched and there is no power connection within the cord, try flexing the cord and see if anything happens. Something may have gotten fried in the iron itself, does it smell at all like it is burnt? Did your circuit breaker blow or a fuse?

Let me know if any of the above is your problem after checking.

It is not worth paying to repair it and in my opinion, if nothing simple solves it, then you shouldn't waste your time repairing it, New irons are cheap, I would buy a new one if none of the above are your problem. Please let me know if you need further help. Thank you and have a good day.

Turn off unit, try a different power cable if possible, try hooking power cable to a different power surge.

Check whether the fuse in the plug is ok. Check the foot pedal is plugged in. If it is follow the flex + check for any breaks/kinks. If it all seems ok its time to open up the machine (only if you know what youre doing). Check where the flex enters the machine to see if theres an internal fuse.

First check out your power cable.
Then if you can open, see if there is any fuse, checkout that.

And if still not fixed, then you should take this to a technician.

Thanks

again as others have done, you have answered your own question, simply disassemble the unit to remove the old cord and do an internet search or check local hardware stores for a replacement cord. This is much easier than posting on here for help.

try changing the needle
rethread the machine top and bobbin
try a different bobbin and make sure the bobbin is turned the right
way
also check to make sure the machine is plugged into the outlet
correctly
and also make sure the power cord is plugged into the machine
correctly
and make sure the foot pedal is plugged into the machine correctly

What size needle does the euro-pro x 384 take?

The needle size depends on the type of fabric you're using. Generally, if you're sewing heavy or sturdy fabrics you'll need a size 16 needle. If you're sewing light weight fabrics, you'll need an 11. Nowadays, most machines will take any brand of needles. I hope this helps. If it does, please return and rate my suggestion.

Euro-Pro 534DX Feet/Parts

Europro are made by Janome, so I would suggest phoning your local Janome dealer in the first instance to seek basic advice........

If they are not certain you would do well to take the machine into the shop to ensure a correct fit.
