Need a driver program to download for free, for a Pixma Mp130, have windows vista, to get my printer working, lost disk, and i new

If Canon is not making a Vista driver for that machine, the only thing I know to do is load VMware virtual machine on your computer. With that you can run windows xp and print from there, VMware runs just like any other program, and when you're done printing you can go back to vista. That printer is working on my Vista machine with no problem, could be a computer issue.

If you have 64-bit vista you are probably out of luck sorry

If you haven't updated your drivers to Vista, follow this link to Canon's site for the MP130. Choose Vista from the dropdown box for OS.
It will bring up the new drivers you need.

The warning that you received was an Operating System incompatibility driver. You must download the correct driver for the specific Operating System like Windows XP, Vista or Mac.

For Windows XP, download the driver HERE

For Windows Vista 32-bit, download the driver HERE

For Windows Vista 64-bit, download the driver HERE

Note: In using Vista driver, you should identify if you are using Vista 32-bit or 64-bit. Go to Control Panel > System to check for version of Vista that you are using.

You can download the driver files here. In the Select OS window, select Windows Vista. Download both the driver and the MP Navigator listed under Software. Follow the directions to install the driver and MP Navigator on your computer.

click go on the next screen select drivers/ software

Select your driver for your XP or VISTA (whichever you have) and download. If you are not advanced on installing you can select automatic driver install.
