Take your broken aerial and go to (radio shack)near you and buy a similar one and fix it in your system with screwdriver.

How to change frequency interference range on AKG rs 40 wireless microphone?

Go on line and search for operators manual. You may have an older unit with frequencies that were given away from the AV world to the internet world and this may ultimately be the cause of interference.

Do a search of legal frequencies for microphones

I Have 2 recivers and 4 mics but can't use all 4 only 2 works

A wireless mic receiver will only reliably work with one mic at a time. For that reason, you need to have 4 receivers in order to use 4 mics simultaneously. You could switch back and forth between mics by setting them to the same frequency and turning them on and off, but they will not work reliably if they're both on at the same time.

I have the AKG wms 40 dual mini mic set with two wireless mics. When mic on ch 2 is in the off position, I get lots of static. Works perfectly fine when on. What do you think is the issue?

Channel 2 mic's receiver needs the Squelch adjusted. The squelch control mutes the receiver so that when the transmitter stops transmitting, erroneous noises are not picked up and amplified.

My D112 died midsession. Can it be reconditioned? Is it cheaper to fix or replace?

Being a dynamic microphone there is not much that can go wrong with it apart from:

  1. broken / detached wiring
  2. failed diaphragm capsule
before doing anything else check it isn't a cable fault.
AKG products normally have a 2 year warranty so if it's inside that time take t back for repair / replacement.
Otherwise a competent repairer ought to be able to fix it for you cheaper than replacement

Akg handheld transmitter not working after impact

Microphone capsules are very delicate and I'm afraid it sounds like you have broken yours and it will have to be replaced. Take the mike back to where you purchased it and see if you can get it serviced or if they can recommend someone locally who does that.

C 518 ML Isnt Working

Make sure that you are supplying phantom power. This mic requires it. Without phantom power, the mic will appear to be dead.

Let me know if that resolves the problem.

Plastic housing on c419 broken

Sorry that the parts list is in German, but at least you can look at the visual, see how they are put together and order the parts. Although this microphone has been discontinued, parts should still be available from AKG.

See the pdf file at the following link:

You will also find the email address and phone number of the American distributor. You can also visit akg's website at:

If my assistance helps you solve your problem, I'd appreciate your rating. Thanks for using Fixya.com
