Chevrolet kalos blaupunkt radio removal problem

Remove the secuirty panel from the front o f the unit.
with a small fine flat bladed screwdriver remove the two facia strips - one either side, CAREFULLY! they are on clips.
You should find four 10mm bolts holding the whole frame in, remove these and you may need to fit a subframe to re-fit your new unit.
Fit your new unit or frame into place, replace the bolts - don't over tightem them - and the trim.
Fit your new unit - Happy motoring!

Alpine CDA 9886 car stereo with sirius. The Artist and song title does not display even though Sirius signal DOES come in. On the other hand, the name of the channel does correctly display (i.e....

I read the manual and found out that the reason the track title information does not display is because you need to set the text scroll setting to manual.

Go to settings
Display
Text Scroll

set this to manual.

Should be fixed!

Alpine CDA-7865R won't play CD and won't eject it either.

On the face, where the buttons are that control the tilt of the face there is a small reset button (In between). I pressed this whilst the unit was off, and when I switched it on again, the CD started playing but I couldn't tilt the face and eject the CD, so I hit the reset button again and it all worked!

Radio Display shows an error code E DC. When looking at manuel, it indicates that something would be inside CD compartment. Radio/CD was and has been working fine. It was working perfect 30 minutes prior...

It is not a fuse, if it were a fuse, the radio would most likely not turn on at all.

This problem you are having is something that would require a professional to repair.

Many times when any type of electonics have a failure, they are working fine just prior to the failure. A component could be on the brink of failure and when the unit gets turned on, that initial charge when powering up can trigger a failure.

If money is an issue, you may want to find a service center that repairs this type of radio instead of taking it to a dealer, unless it is under the warranty.
If it is not under warranty, a dealer may charge you more to fix it than it would cost to purchase a new aftermarket stereo. They are very expensive.

Let me know if I can be any more help to you.

Purchased a used car and it has an old Alpine stero 7156 radio. Can't seem to find any information on how to change the time on the clock. Any ideas? Thanks, DM

w key turned to acc. turn radio off then push and hold the time adjust button . it should be on the left side. it will say mono at the top and time adjust on bottom. turn the the tuner knob left for hours and right for minutes then let off the time adjust button.

Car audio

Can't really help without seeing the item - but I know it is very difficult to fit a 'different' radio to cars nowadays as they are all 'cutom-built' just to fit their vehicle.
What do you mean ' the wiring is too large at rear of unit ' ?#
Is this the radio itself you mean - what wiring is at the rear of the JVC KD G431?

armitch-this sounds like a simple problem of having your main power wires backwards. The red has to be hooked to a wire that shows 12volts when key is on.The yellow wire must have power all the time-memory .The yellow wire is what keeps your memory. Try this and let me know I can help.
