Hope you can help me. I've just done a really sweet install of a JVC AVX-800 unit in my 2006 Hummer H2. Everything works good except I can't get my new Apple Itouch to talk to the unit. I can use my wife's older iPod with no problems but the newer iTouch won't work. The iTouch does indicate a connection with the AVX-800 but there's no functionality. Is there a work around for this glitch. I used the standard JVC PD-100 adapter, there was nothing said at JVC.com about compatability issues. Any suggestions?

cant use the 100 ipod adapt. have to use the usb input cable if your unit has one. if not then you will have to use the AV INPUT WITH A 3 MILL jack. no songs will come up but it will play

I have got same unit in my SWIFT .. !!
JVC has this glitch in their technology but not in ur ipod or HU or ur GIZMO brain..!!! :)
i my self took this HU first n then tried some nice phone from nokia and sony to see which model is working.. n finally i found that there is too old model called N80 will work as fine as it can get..!!! you can also see GPS map from that on ur HU by means of A/V cable.
try nokia express music as well it has A/V cable in package and with that you can se GPS map as well.
