Question about Compaq Evo N1000C Notebook
I recently opened my laptop harddrive on the back and i think it was powered up when i took out the harddrive from the back after i put it back and powered up my laptop it wont boot!THANKS
Ooooh! That was not a smart thing to do.You may have shorted something out.
Make sure it is unplugged.
Remove the battery.
Remove the hard drive again.
Hold down the power button for at least 60 seconds.
Replace the hard drive. Make sure it is seated properly.
If the power light comes on but the laptop will not boot you may have fried your hard drive.
