Try looking at tritronicsinc.com. They are a distributor for Panasonic parts. Use the model number to search their parts listings. If you have difficulty, call them up for assistance.

Please help me connect my acer A1-830 to a tv

If your TV has a VGA input, connect a VGA lead from your laptop into your TV. Then audio to your stereo is favourite.
If it has HDMI and your laptop has the same, connect them together, if not check the laptop connector and TV connector and do some shopping for a lead/convertor.

I need to know what all cords do I need to hook it up right and how does the theater system hooks up to the tv?

I couldn't find the manual for this model but below is the link for a DC-TS760 Manual which should give you enough information to enable you to connect it all together.

Easiest way is to just use a Scart Lead (and Audio Leads if your TV has an Audio Out) as detailed.

I need to find someone who make flat component lead for technics part no rex0511/rex0512

That is the interconnect cable for the separate components on a shelf system right? The only way to do this as the part is no longer available is 1 of the following:

1) Try to locate similar system on Ebay that is defective and purchase it for the parts value. The replacement cable would have cost about $20. A parts machine that costs a littel more would also give you additional spare parts should something else fail.

2) Call a local audio repair shop to see if they have on in stock. Some authorized service centers sometimes carry a small selection of these obscure parts.

3) Look at the connectors on the back. There should be an AMP or Centronics number on them. Try to locate a supplier for those connectors and purchase the mates and some cable and make your own. The audio repair shop above may be able to help with this too.

Good luck,

Dan

Hi, During moving we have lost the power leads for our hi-fi. It is a Technics, ST-Z980, SH-8038, SU-2980, RS-D190W, SL-P300. Can you help us with how we would purchase new ones. Cheers Grant

Hi Kitch,

Been there. If you have a goodwill near you, I have found the to be a great source for just about every power cable I have ever lost and needed to replace. Each one is usually about $1.00

Good luck,
Mike

Technics ribbon cable extension

You will never find those connectors, as they come with the ribbon cable, which is long discontinued. Rather than that approach, take the easy route. Just cut the ribbon in any place that you need the extension, add in your new ribbon cable, and heat shrink each and ever wire.

Check that you have connected the component video lead to the correct sockets in both the TV and the HTS9800W.

There are two sets of Phono (cinch) connectors, which are grouped together.

Red / Green / Blue - Component connectors - video only

Red / White / Yellow - Stereo audio and composite video connectors - audio and vide

If you have inadvertently connected the red audio connector to the red component input on the TV, it would cause similar symptoms as you describe.
