Question about Brother Multi-Function Center MFC-240C All-In-One InkJet Printer
My MFC 240c brother printer wont print in black. I ran the self cleaning 5 times and it still wont print black any ideas as to how to fix this.
Sure. if you re lucky the generic ink hasn t destroyed the ph bk channel yet:
use skyhorse carts (http://www.skyhorse.net.cn ) who built good and reliable carts with a very good ink quality!
To get bk again:
press menu tehn start bk copy then fourtimes arrow up. machines will
be in maintenance mode. press 7 then 6 then 4 then start bk copy. machine will initialize the carts, refresh all tubes and ph channels with fesh ink and eliminates the air bubbles (quite a big prob within brother inkjet printers). When finished press 7 -6 -3 to
run a power purge. leave the maintenance mode by pressing 9 then 9. do run a test print.
If you cant see ANY bk the ph is clogged and cant be fixed any more. it needs replacing then.
