Well it is kinda hard to do. There are multi million dollar companies trying their darndest but every time they think they have it licked, someone finds a way aroud it. Even if you do find a way to protect the cd as a whole then someone can come by with a program like clone cd and copy the whole thing protection and all. Im not trying to be a downer just telling you the truth. I think your better bet would be to copywrite the music. this way if someone does copy it you have a legal avenue to take. Now Im not sure what contry your in but in the us I would start here.
http://www.copyright.gov/
Then f
ind the correct form for hardcopy or go the online route if applicable, send the song or compilation, send money, wait a long time, you will get your copyright.
but if you are dead set on protecting your music then there are programs out there that will do it like
http://www.inspyreit.com/2008/10/how-to-copy-protect-your-cd/
ive also heard there is a program that is called CCDLock that worksd in conjunction with cloecd that may do what you are looking for, but like i said before even if you do get it to copy protectce the cd any 12 year old with a computer and an internet connection can download a program to overide the protection.
Sorry to be such a downer and all, I myself am a computer programer and understand wanting to copy protect your intelectual property but I also realise Piracy is a fact ofo life in my line of work and there is nothing I can do to stop it. So i just try to make my product so appealing and affordab;r that people pay for it to help support it and dont even try to get around it.
Hope this helps a little.
