I would replace the power supply if there is no light assuming you tried a different power cord and outlet. They put the light there to notify you if you are getting power or not.

Looks like your power supply's failed. The green light on the back of your power supply is just a neon light that just confirms that the power lead is OK, it does not relate to the status of the power supply! Try powering it up with another power supply, or replacing the power supply.

The clientpro 385 was recently restarted and now the power button flashes green every one to two seconds. Unplugging the computer and plugging it back in changes nothing.

You may want to check your manufactuar's manual, but usually a flashing green/yellow/orange power light on a desktop computer means a PSU (Power Supply Unit) failure.

If that verifies through your manual and/or their technical support department, contact the company you purchased it through or you can go on a 3rd party site like www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com or even locally at Best Buy and purchase a new PSU.

Wont power up green light on back is on but

Most likely a failure in the internal power supply of the tower. Replacements are around $50 if not under warranty.

Machine will not turn on. No sound or bleep when I

It can be a hard ware or software failure . You need to change cabinet and powersupply of the unit as they maybe damaged and not giving sufficient power. If you want more details please call on +919594761770 - Srikanth nikoncoolpixs10@yahoo.co.in

On HP computers, I believe that this means that the power supply or the motherboard is bad. I assume that the outage was due to the thunderstorm and you may have received a surge. In your manual, there should be diagnostic light codes where they will outline the exact meaning. Again, to the best of my knowledge, this means that there is a bad power supply or a motherboard.

Green light flashing on back of unit near power cord also green light flashing on motherboard near power supply plug in.

I would suggest trying to replace the power supply. If that does not fix the issue, i would need to hear more about the computer.

EMachines not powering up

You may have updated windows to a point that this old machine cant handle the revamp. Kick back to an older ops system, although that poses security risks. Your motherboard may also have given up. Best advice - upgrade, and retire this machine to the recycle bin.
