Question about IBM ThinkPad R32 2658 Notebook
My thinkpad r32's IR port covered is opaque (unlike others which are amber and transparent) but when i check the entries in my system an IBM IRDa is installed and is working just fine. It comes to me that my R32 comes with an onboard IRDa but the manufacturer disables it by placing an opaque cover that renders the port unusable. Am I correct? Can I take out the cover to enable it?
You might be able to but just in case go to your local computer store or go to the IBM factory.
