Central heating timer

My Honeywell central heating timer has nrecently stopped keeping the right time ie if its 8.00am it might be 1.00am on the timer and therefore the central heating does not come on. Any ideas?

Central heating not working properly and maybe a problem with the timer


To getproper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre.It it's with RV, check power to RV

Wiring of gas central heating


you have a link pin on 3-4 or 1-5 or seperate 2 pin connector,thats were the stat goes,any way round with wires

In the end I bought another timer on sale/return. My heating didn't work with that one either, so my problem's not the timer but something else.
