Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I had the same problem with my daughters one. To fix just go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management, and then click on Disk management under storage.Once you've done that your mp3 will show up as volume eg. C drive and so on....,now simply right click and format. Please make sure not to format your main HDD, and be aware that anything on the mp3 will be LOST, but you have no other choice, Good luck and hope this works.

Phil, You need to format the drive with FAT, not FAT32. Will work.

Format the mp3 player by connecting it to the PC and then disk scan it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
