turn off the printer, disconnect the usb cable from the unit then click the start button on your computer, select printer & fax there u can see your printer right click on it then select cancel all pending job,, hope this help
You did not list your model but if it is an MFC series then try turning off the machine and then hold down the clear/stop button while turning the power back on. Continue holding the button for a few seconds. This procedure will clear whatever may be stuck in memory. This works on most Brother models but may not work on yours.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
o.k. -check for paper jam -check your ink cartridge -unplug your printer for 1 minute -turn it back on -if same problem still exist go to your computer and look in the system tray in the bottom right-hand corner find a printer icon and cancel all print jobs.
turn off your printer. then you chose start option from your windows. and click printer and fax option from above of hlep and support switch. and you can chose that printer in which you faced problem. and open that printer option. then you will see pending list of your printer. on that list you select all and do right click on that list and click cancel option.after cancellation of all the pending document. you turn on your printer. right now you can print as per wish.
You can setup the printer to print a confirmation page on send. Push the setup button - then push right arrow until you see print report and press okay - press right arrow until you see fax confirmation and press ok - push right until it says on send and press ok. Hit cancel to go back to default and now you will get a confirmation for all sent faxes.
I've just talked with HP support and they fixed the problem. This is the solution:
1- unplug printer while it's on 2- after 10 seconds, and while it's unplugged, press the cancel and OK buttons at the same time and plug it while holding the buttons. 3- after the printer is on, release the buttons 4- if it does not start the computers, then turn it on manually (with the power button) while pressing the cancel and OK buttons at the same time and release them after the printer starts 5- try the copier and print a page through the computer 6-turn it off for 1 minute and then on again. The message should not be there now Good luck
