My puppy has chewed my lap top cord, how can I get another one? The damaged part is the half of the cord that goes into the laptop, the other half that goes into the wall is undamaged. Thanks Val

You can purchase a universal laptop cord at most stores that sell computers. They generally run about $80 - $120. You may have better luck checking ebay for your specific models cord, you likely could get it for much less.

Can I replace the jack that my puppy chewed off

The puppy probably chewed off the plug. If the plug was molded on, it may be more practical to replace the entire cord assembly.

My puppy chewed the powercord to my tv, what can i do

Try a T.V. repair shop to see if they can replace the cord for you if it is no longer under warranty...and make sure puppy has plenty of rawhides or chew toys to gnaw on while teething. They can't help it. Those teeth need help breaking through.

Puppy ate thru power cord. Can it be replaced?

no need to replace it. Simply cut the cord where it was chewed through (if it was not already fully separated). cut an inch off of each damaged side of the cord. Strip the wires and then "braid" them back together.

Our puppy chewed through the cord on our Rainbow. we paid $45 to have the cord replaced, got it home and it still will not turn on. Any ideas? Thanks!

The service tech who replaced it didn't know what he/she was doing. That's my first guess. If it was working before the puppy chewed through the cord, then if the cord was replaced, it should work. That leads me to believe the cord wasn't installed correctly. Take it back and have them redo it, then make sure it works before leaving the shop.

Kenmore 400 washer, model 110-29422 801: How do I get at the attachments for the electrical power cord - my puppy chewed it in half, and I must replace it. Do I remove the top, or the back, and how,...

Use a putty knife at the base of the control console about 2 inches in from the right and left sides.
Lay the putty knife flat on the top of the washer and push it in under the front corner of the control console to depress the clips on the right and left side.
Then fold the control console panel towards the rear of the washer.
Then you can see the cord and how it attaches.
The cord part number is 285800 and cost about $30.00.

Puppy has chewed the top of it ,screen is ok

Sorry, but this is impossible to help you with unless you can state whether the phone still works and also add a link to show detailed close up photos of the damage.

At it's most simple, you're just in need of a spare part, at worst the phone is effectively a write off. The damage might not even be obvious: puppy slobber is as effective as any other moisture exposure when it comes to killing phones.

How to repair cord on sennheiser 590s?

a quick fix is to resolder the the wires and then get a glue gun and coat the wires thsi will keep them seperated when you retape the cable. if you **** the wire coating ie the outer black rubber sleeve first then peel this back so you exspose the wires you can use this to cover the repaired wires.

My puppy chewed the electric cord! Can i buy a replacement? Model GGR200RDDS

This should be an obvious one. If the cord is attached HARD, meaning you can't remove it, you have to buy a new unit. punish your puppy as you see fit. If the cord is removeable, meaning there is some sort of lock-in plug end to the cord to the cooking unit, OR a magnetic lock, you can most likely buy a new one. just call up the number for sales that should be printed on your owners manual somewhere. And if you tell me its not there, look harder. every company wants a sale. and you know the company name anyway. GEORGE FORMAN GRILL. Also you can splice the cable if its a chew in the middle. it takes some electrical know-how, but if a puppy chews in the middle, a pair of wire nuts and some electrical tape fixes it. talk to people in the know. CONTACT CONTACT CONTACT! :) The world is not at an end due to a fiesty puppy.
