Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

I have an LG Flatron L1910S monitor which seems to have a powersupply proble. The green indicator light flashes when you start up the system and nothing comes on the screen. If you pull and tweak the power lead and then on it comes. If it is the lead then it should be a no brainer but I was wondering if there is possibly something wrong internally. Yes my friend.. Its just a dry solder(Loose contact).. you will need to resolder it with 0.5 mm -0.8mm lead.

Bought a 2nd hand LG Flatron monitor It opens on Windows but nothing else works. Do I need a driver? Its a Flatron 1718S and I can't get a driver on line on my other computer with the LG monitor. Im using...

You should download the manual for this monitor. You can find it here: http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresult&megnev=LG&megnev2=L1718&kategoria=&kat2=all

If it is working fine on Windows but not on another operating system, it is very likely a driver problem. You'll need to check the manual on what operating systems are supported. Visit the LG website to download available drivers. Good luck.

I think my HP Pav powersupply is dead. When I plug it in and try to turn it on, nothing happens to the HD and computer except a green light flashes on the back of the power supply. It is a Bestec...

all atx powersupplies are generic-it dous not really matter what computer it comes from unless its a high end pc requiring loads of power-if your machine is intel you may need a supply with an extra twelve volt lead(two yellow and two black leads in a little block)-but for that pc i would just harvest a powerpack out of a dead machine

Won't come on after power outage

Hi,
Sometimes you have to unplug the monitor from the power supply and wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back in, and make sure you don't need to press the reset button on the power strip.

We just bought a new LG flatron L222wt computer screen but it doesn't have any sound--volume controls seem o.k... Is there something else we need to do to get it to work??

Did you check to make sure the audio cable is plugged into the audio in on the back of the monitor and the audio out (usually green) on the back of the PC?
