No sound after a fuse outage

Could be a audio output circuit problem but if just using the speakers built into the set check in the set menu to make sure for whatever reason the speakers are now not switched to off.

With the correct cable or sat box and a surround sound system you might be able to get around this---just a thought.

I have a Mitsubishi LT-52153 that has no sound. I have reset the tv as well as double and triple checked the audio input. i still dont get any sound from its speakers

Check in set menu and a box menu for the following:

Volume is not turned down or muted (both set and a box if used)

Speakers in the set are not switched to OFF.

If set has external hookup for speakers that is not selected (internal/external switch)

Lastly if set works with a DVD etc it has to be a setting either in the set or a cable or sat box or even a receiver if used causing this)

The volume has went off on my tv. its a samsung le26b450c4w

First verify that the mute is disengaged (toggle the mute button). Second, check the sound configuration to make sure the internal speakers are on, or check the sound output to make sure it is going to the inputs of an external audio amplifier (stereo receiver) and that the external amplifier is working. Try a different input source - perhaps the problem is your cable feed or DVD player.
If the internal speakers are on, the volume is up, and you still don't get any sound from a known-good source (TV channel, DVD player, etc.), then try running the sound to a stereo system as described above.
If that works, you may have a shorted speaker amplifier (depending on the set's design, this may blow a fuse supplying power to both left and right amplifiers or a speaker protection circuit will keep the speakers disconnected). These aren't usually hard to repair, but if you find a blown fuse, fix the amplifier before replacing the fuse or you'll just waste another fuse.

No sound from any input. picture good

If the TV is under warranty, take it in for repair. If it is not, you can remove the back and check the sound card. If there is a fuse there, i may be blown. Not sure about the model of your TV... but it could be as simple as a fuse. The sound card has the two (or more depending on the model) wires one coming from the right of the tv and one from the left. It looks like this on my TV. If it's not on the sound card, check all fuses. And make sure the TV isn't on Mute! 8d1526c.jpg

Check to see if you get the sound from AUDIO Line out RCA jacks, if you do, then look st the on screen sound setup manual to see if the speakers is turn to OFF in the setup. MUTE button?
