Oven flashing F and E1 codes when i turn oven on it ays to turn oven off and flashes F1 nd E1 codes

If this is a Kitchenaid, Roper or Whirlpool range, this error indicates an EEPROM error in the control board. Ifthe F1 E1 trouble code continues after you've disconnected the power for over 30 seconds, you need to replace the electronic control board (clock). You can often find parts online with the model number of the unit. (Try partselect.com or searspartsdirect.com (if Sears sold the model).)

I hope this helps.

I have whirlpool accubake model wle 3430 almost 10 years old and have a code E1 F1 and oven is not working ! 1 e

Hello,

The F1-E1 error code means the control board has detected a problem within the control itself and the control board needs to be replaced

When ordering the control please note it may also be called the,CLOCK,EOC or Electronic Oven Control in addation to the control board..any of those names it will be the same part.

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Error code F1-E1 means safety flip flop and to resolve this issue you'll have to replace the Electronic Range Control (ERC). Please rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Oven doesn't work, stove does

If it's a Whirlpool or Kenmore oven (or one of several other brands that are made by Whirlpool) then this error code means:

F1 - E1 Safety flip flop Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)

The system believes that the control board has failed and needs to be replaced.

This page has a list of diagnostic codes by brand and model number. You should check there to look up your particular brand to confirm what I just said.
