Question about Epson Stylus RX500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Changed the blank cartridge a week ago. printer worked fine.
copied a form yesterday and one page printed fine, the second was barely visiable. It was not jumbled, just not printed.
Cleaned the nozzles twice, printed a nozzle chech and got only the yellow color.
I have read some place that a cartridge cannot be removed and reinstall in these epsons. In the process of checking things out, I may have removed some cartridges and reinstalled them, I certainly did the black for sure.
I have no error message, and ink levels are 60% for all colors and 80% for black.
Any help is appreciated.
Turn the printer off overnight and try the head cleaning process again. Leaving it unpowered for an extended period softens the ink and makes the cleaning more effective. It may require several cleaning cycles.
