I bought a usb video adapter - easycap - £10 and linked DV out on my everio gz mg330 to usb adapter ( once software installed) and the video feed works - not checked audio as Im only using video for animation.

well, to convert the file from your JVC, u have to use a tool to do this. here i recommend u Pavtube HD Converter which can convert mod, tod, mts, m2ts to many other regular format u want. and if u wanna a web cam, u have to find a specific one for web camming.
Check with JVC and your manual to ensure that this camera can be used as a still camera when connected to the PC. I think even some high end cameras do not have this functionality. You don't say which version of Windows you are running.
I would check with JVC's web site or on your driver disc to see that there are WDM / TWAIN drivers to allow your GZ-MG130 to be seen as an imaging device in Windows.
i buyed jvc GZ-MG 21E 20GB camcorder but lost its software onvery first day.now its one year i can't connect the stuff to my computer whenever i do so it shows "the device connected is not recognozed".i had enquired to us support center but no positive reply.i want to un load all the stuffs from the camcorder.
i got one of its software from dubai but still it does't work.please assist me in this problem.there is no support center in india .if it is please let me know.u can mail me at email@example.com .i'd buyed this stuff from nairobi airport.
