Is this occurring when downloading files? If so, you may need to right click and select "Save as...", "Save to Disk..." or "Save File As...".

When you open the file, Windows may be trying to open it with the wrong program. It may be trying to open a picture file with Notepad, which would result in numbers and unreadable characters. If this is the problem, right click on the file, choose "Open With", and choose the appropriate program.

Yeah, that would make sense. After your trial ended, it would have tried to open the file as a text document, which would explain its readability, or lack thereof.

When I plug in my JFV30 my computer does not pick it up, why and how do i fix this. I am using windows 7

First, unplug the drive. Then download the drivers for that particular flash drive here:
Once those drivers are downloaded and installed, restart your computer and plug in the flash drive. With any luck it should be working.

Hi, I've recently installed k9 but i have forgotten my password and since then my email account has been hacked so i can't get it sent to another one, is there a password i can use to unistall it? ...

K9 web protection cannot be uninstalled without password by the windows utility as it has limited access. Now what you can do is use REVO UNINSTALLER software. The following is the link for downloading the setup file-:

After downloading the setup file install it.Now as soon as you open the revo uninstaller it will show you all the programs installed. Now select K9 web security and then it will give you four options.Select advanced uninstaller and click on next (this might open windws uinstaller again and might ask you for a password as well but just click on cancel).Just after this it will show a screen to delete all the files of k9 from your hard drive and also from your registry.Select all the files and click on delete all. Some of the files might not delete but as soon as you restart the computer K9 will be out of your computer.
Basically it will not uinstall k9 but will delete all the files from your computer and the registry as well.So if there are no files of k9 in the registry that means its out of your computer.

This is a guaranteed solution but i hope your not a minor who just wants to watch what i mean..
well anyways goodluck

Long live the geeks!!!

I recently downloaded the Walmart computer care plan because i just located it in the bnox. My grandson helped me remove it from the packagte and set ist up. With all the confusion we never saw the disc....

if the key is not accepted, it is possible the one you got is like for free trial which has already expired. you may want to check with walmart again regarding this one, or you may also need to get assistance from bit defender. Make sure by the way your system clock/time is correct since this is one of the usual causes of registration failures.

I have dial-up and have tried to download adobe reader 4 times and every time after having down load cannot find adobe reader anywhere in my computer what can i do?

It is because the file is not completely downloaded in your system.. so as it shows file completed.. it is because of slow net connection speed and the file downloaded in temp is deleted automatically if it is not completed

Unknown dll

I suggest that it might be tied to some malware installed on your computer.

To get rid of all the problems....

This is what you want to do:

1) Go to CCleaner - Home and download that and install

2) Get on google and type in " spyware doctor starter edition" find that, download it and install

3) Ad-Aware @ Lavasoft - The Original Anti-Spyware Company - Lavasoft and download adaware

4) Anti-Spyware, Anti-Malware, Email Security Software and Firewall and download counterspy

5) -- download avg antispyware free edition

1) Run ccleaner to clear out your temporary files

2) Go to the start orb and type "msconfig". Look for any references to the .dll file in there, and if you see it, disable it. You can also disable and unneeded startup items while your here if you choose. REBOOT

3) Install and update (if you didn't already) the antispyware software, run FULL scans with all of them (one at a time preferably). All should be well after the scans complete

4) ???

5) Enjoy!

As for the error message.. does it pop up when you boot up your computer? Did you recently install something that might be questionable?
Try uninstalling whatever it is that you recently installed. Also, look at the tutorials here to learn how to enable and disable start up programs.

Hope my info solves your problem,
Thanx for using fixya........
