My ps3 will loose connection to the wireless controllers randomly... sometimes during gameplay. Sometimes even the bluetooth dvd remote will quit working during movie playback. Sometimes they will work fine when i turn off the ps3 but when i try to use them to turn it back on they just flash. I have tried turning off my bluetooth phone and headset, changing the channel on my wireless router. But it still keeps doing it.

Hey I have the same problem it seems to happen when I'm watching a movie and the controllers or the Blue Ray Remote have not been used for an extended period of time. Currently if I switch off the unit it restores it's self but I am worried that this is going to get worse if I don't find a solution.
Please let me know if you find a solution. [email protected] If I find one I'll let you know. Thanks
We have the one wireless controller that came with the system and we purchased the Sony PS3 DVD remote. The PS3 will lose the signal from these during both gameplay (for the controller) and DVD playback (DVD remote). Even plugging the controller directly into the PS3 via the USB cord will not get the system to recognize and re-connect to the controller. It gets very frustrating and then we have to shut the system down by holding down the power button and often times by switching off the power in the back of the machine. We don't have wireless internet or any other bluetooth devises in our apartment, so I don't know what is disrupting the signal.
Sony, please help!!
