My core controller just vibrates

Hi
The problem may be with the game. some PS2 games are partially compatible with PS3.
When the controller vibrates and turns off use the wire to switch it on and keep running.

My PS3 wireless controller works fine, except for the fact the it has a delayed reaction to every movement I make it do. If I move the joy-stick left 1.5 seconds later the same appears on the television....

It sounds to me like there is a noteable delay due to a combination of things: your Bluetooth wireless controler (primary reason), and the cable connection from your PS3 to your TV. Now, to determine what the problem is specifically, you'll need to check a few things:

1. Make sure your PS3 is updated to the latest software

2. Check to make sure your cable connections from your PS3 to your TV are firmly in place. I personally have noticed that I got delayed reactions when my HDMI cable was not firmly secured to my HD TV. Weird, but as soon as I unplugged and re-plugged in the cable at both the TV end and the PS3 end, it cleared things up for me. If that does NOT work (btw, this can also be the case if you use a composite or component set up too).

3. Check to make sure that your PS3 controller is fully charged. Controllers that are partially charged occasionally do demonstrate really weird results, like the delay you're talking about. So, make sure that your PS3 controller is fully charged.

4. If the controller is fully charged AND your PS3 to TV cable is plugged in properly, then try to plug the USB cable to connect your PS3 controller to your PS3. Sometimes, for reasons I don't know about yet, this could solve the delay problem.

My controller is original dualshock3,...the stick and the pad when i turn on the ps3 on the xmb menu it rapidly goes stuck to the left any ideas before i buy another ps3...HURRY!!! i won't hold much...

Have you tried using a different controller? Usually this is the problem, your PS3 controller's D-Pad is stuck on the left side or the responding piece beneath the D-Pad is being pressured down in some manner. I recommend trying a Different controller first before buying another PS3 ( get a cheap PS3 Arcade stick or something)

Controller all 4 lights are flashing and no sounds and no picture

Excerpt from the PlayStation 3 Manual:

There is no picture on the TV screen.

*Check that the input mode of the TV is appropriate for the connector in use on the system.

*There may be a problem with the AV cable in use. Try using another cable that is compatible with the PS3 system.

*If the video output settings on the system do not match those of the cable or TV in use, there may be no picture. If the screen goes blank, turn off the system. Then, with only the system and the TV connected, touch the system's power button for more than 5 seconds to turn the system back on. The video output settings will automatically be reset to the standard resolution.

*If the resolution of the video content is not supported by the TV in use, when the video is played the screen may go blank. If this happens, go to the screen for selecting the resolution in the system's video output settings, select "Custom" and then select all the resolutions that are supported by the TV.

The wireless controller does not function.

*When using the wireless controller, you must pair it with the system and assign it a controller number. With the system turned on (power indicator on the system front is lit solid green), connect the system and the controller using the USB cable, and then press the PS button on the controller.

*Reset the wireless controller by pushing the reset button on the controller rear with a sharp-tipped object such as a pen.

Pairing your PlayStation 3 controller with another system will reset its frequency and you will need to pair it with your own again. If I recall, you cannot pair a controller through a USB hub, it must be a direct USB connection to the PlayStation 3.

Picture goes to a lime green fuzz and then no piture or sound!

which AV connection are you using? HDMI or the cable supplied with the PS3, If using HDMI, you have to set the PS3 visual settings to HDMI, to do this, use the cable supplied with the PS3, and have the HDMI cable plugged in. Then while using the cables supplied with the PS3, switch the settings over to HDMI, then change the TV's input selector to your HDMI and confirm the settings changes. Hope it helps take care
