Hope you have the reset code . If so remove the battery terminal reconnect after a few minutes and reenter the radio code should be a fix if the radio is not damaged.

Code radio

if original JD radio need to go to dealer with model and serial #. they are the only ones that can give you codes the same as in car sterios and phones

2002 grand am unlock code for raidio

check on top of the radio case it may be on there.. you may be lucky. the radio is old now so they would of got ride of the codes for them. you can send it to be read for a price. they only keep the codes for around 5 years from new.

My battery died. twice. now the radio doesn't work. we tried every code we could think of and failed. the display now reads 'Help' I'd like to over-ride the system to add a new code without...

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Radio code to over ride code set at factory

Unfortunately you need to obtain this from your dealer. You might also try a Car Stereo Installation shop near your home.

Safe mode

Radio needs to be removed from dashboard. get the serial number from the ride side of the radio and call dealer with the vin# and the radio serial number and you can get the unlock code
