No sound! I don't know what I did...or the phone did, but my LG 150 has
no sound at all. The battery has charge, which is about the only thing
I can think of. I can't hear ring tones, dial tones, when I called the
house, I couldn't hear them, and they couldn't hear me. The User's
Guide is only so much help. I have no idea how to check if mute is on,
and there's no troubleshooting section! Any thoughts?? And of course,
it's later Friday night, so the Canadian LG service dept is closed for
the weekend...I'd really rather NOT be without my phone all weekend.
I've tried checking my settings (as best I could), for all the
different ways the sound could be affected...ringer volume, etc...
Well, I still don't really know what the problem was. After checking the user guide, and looking all over the internet and finding nothing, I decided to check the battery. All I did was take it out...put it back in and turn the phone on again. There ya go...sound again...go figure...

You coulid have a bad battery in the phone. You may be able to borrow a battery from another lg phone that you know charges and then test if it charges with your charger. Also you might be able to take your battery and try it in another lg phone on a charger and see if it charges.
Is the phone still under warranty? if so I would take it back to be replaced. It does sound like the battery is bad if loosing power that fast. You can overcharge the battery and that will lessen the battery life.I've done that before. My LG VX9600 I'm able to change the screen settings for when it is charging, maybe yours was changed somehow, check your Settings & Tools / Display Settings. I hope this helps.
Hello, I had the same problem with this phone. What you need to do is turn off the cellular phone, take out the battery and leave it out for thirty seconds. Once you reboot the phone, the problem should be fixed. If not, I do have a few other solutions. Let me know how it works out for you.
TRY THIS: Have had my LG chocolate for 10 days, then sounds just stopped. Another website said to take out the battery for a couple of minutes and put it back in, I just did that, and now my sounds are back!! I hope this isn't a chronic problem...
