Question about Ecoquest Flair Air Purifier
When I turn on my unit, the fan takes a while to start turning then when it does it has a constant squeak while turning. To me it sounds like it needs a new fan motor. how do I fix this problem and if I have to replace the motor can it be done easily?
Remove the retaining screw from the bottom of the unit and slide the insides out the back. use WD40 with the plastic extension tube, spray into the motor armature/stator and turn with your hand until it is free spinning then reassemble and turn on.
this is an ongoing problem with my unit because the air and all contaminents are pulled directly to the fan.
